atmosphere. There will be a DJ, Moon Bounce and Crafts. Refreshments will
be sold. Tickets are
limited and must be purchased in advance on a fist come first serve
basis. Watch for the Halloween
Party flyer in your child's backpack. New this year - 5th graders

Bingo for Books is a fun evening of bingo for children in Grade 4 and younger.
Everyone's a winner, and everyone leaves with a book. We're always looking
for volunteers to help with the fun. Donations of new or gently used
books are appreciated. Books can be dropped off at HCS or HMS in the
drop off boxes. Contact Julie Ahern with questions. yagger125@aol.com

New this year! While parents wait on the other
side of the gym, Hampstead children in kindergarten through fourth
grade have the opportunity to shop for holiday gifts for
relatives and friends. All gifts are nominally priced, and
children can also visit the card-making table for free!
Contact Kelli True for any
questions.

Each year the PTSA schedules a series of parent workshops for the purpose of
educating parents on a particular topic or topics of interest. The parent
workshops are different each year, and, as with the Community Event, we are
always seeking new ideas. Prior workshops have addressed topics such as
early college planning, study skills, internet safety, and drug abuse. Parent workshops are
intended for adults, not children.
