Hampstead PTSA is successful because of our families! Volunteering your time is an inexpensive way to meet the needs of our school, make an effective contribution to your child’s school experience, and show your child that you value his/her education. If we each contribute 1 HOUR we can accomplish so much! Without volunteers like you, many of the PTSA
events and activities would not be possible. You can help during the day or at night, at the school or from your home. 

Below you will find a list of annual events and programs run by the Hampstead PTSA and its many volunteer families.

MeadowBrook Farms Fall Fundraiser:  This will be direct ship to home, so should be significantly easier than years past. Fundraiser Starts 9/14 and ends on 10/5. Items are expected to arrive at home by Thanksgiving.

After School Enrichment: This program runs from 3:30-4:30pm for 3 weeks October through November and then again in the spring. Enrichment brings a variety of classes to HCS such
as crafting, cupcake decorating LEGOS, Ceramics, and sports. Volunteers are needed to teach classes, enroll students and assist instructors during class times. There are many opportunities for volunteers to help at home or in school.

Reflections Art Program: The National PTA Reflections program encourages students in preschool through grade 12 to create and submit original works of art in the medium of their choice— dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts — reflecting on a specific theme. This year the Theme of the Reflections Competition is, “Within Reach.” Volunteers are needed are needed for this event.

5TH Grade Social - This event takes place 2x per year. October and May(or)June. Volunteers are needed to plan and help at these events.

Halloween Party: This is an event that the kids look forward to every year. The party is for children ages Pre-K through 4th grade. We need many volunteers to bake and assist with a fun filled night for HCS kids. Our PTSA student members are a huge help during this event and have a blast!

**Chairperson(s) Needed!** Jingle Bell Shop: This event runs in December and allows students and their siblings to shop for holiday gifts on their own or with the help of a volunteer. The items are priced at minimal costs (between$.25 and $10). Volunteers are needed to help set up in the HCS Cafeteria, to assist children in their purchases, to wrap gifts and to help clean up after the event.

Staff Appreciation: We need volunteers to help run special events and surprises for our Staff at HCS and HMS. This event takes place the second full week of May, and relies heavily on donations from our parents.

Bingo For Books: Play books! The HCS kids LOVE this event. This event coincides with read across america week. We are looking for book donations and helpers for the event.

Pantene Cut/ Buzz-A-Thon: Benefit the American Cancer Society and Pantene Beautiful Lengths. If you have 8 inches of hair or more that you would like to donate, this is the event for you! All ages are welcome. Permission from parents is required. Details to come.

Paint Night: Enjoy a fun night of painting with friends! This event will be offered to middle school students. We will need volunteers to help at this event. Light refreshments are served while the kids unleash their inner artist with Mary Preble! Details to come!

Movie Night: Kids enjoy a movie with friends at HCS. We are looking for a chair to run this event as well as volunteers. Details to come.
