Enrichment Class Policies & Procedures

Registration

To register your child for an enrichment course, please go online to the following address: http://www.hampsteadptsa.org/programs/enrichment to fill out the ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM. Once the class is full no more registration will be accepted. We will have a wait list for all classes. Please click on “WAIT LIST” to be added. After you have registered please pay online (online payment unavailable for fall; we are sorry for the inconvenience) or send check (payable to Hampstead PTSA) or cash into the Hampstead Central School in a marked envelope “Hampstead PTSA Enrichment Class”. If payment is not received after two days we will contact you for the payment and if we still do not receive it, we will need to remove your child from the class. There will not be any refunds awarded for classes once you have signed up. Classes will be closed once they reach the maximum number of students. Confirmations will be sent out as soon as we receive the payments.

Pickup from afternoon classes

Unless otherwise instructed, parents must come to the car pick-up/drop-off loop located by the preschool entrance to pick their children up. Parents will not be allowed to enter the school building. If you would like to carpool, please list people who are authorized to pick up your child on your child’s registration form. If you need to designate someone else to pick up your child for a special situation, please send a note into the instructor. You are expected to pick up your child on time. If your child needs to go to Schools Out after class, please send a note in stating this and they will be escorted to Schools Out.

Weekly Notes

You must send a note or update Pick-up Patrol for your child to attend a PTSA classes after school. You may send it on Monday for a class later in the week or on the day of the class. Note can be emailed to Maggie Bolen at bolenm@hampsteadschools.net or sent to school.

Class Cancellation/Refund Policy

Every effort will be made to reschedule classes missed due to school closure or instructor issues. If a class cannot be rescheduled we will not be able to issue refunds for missed classes. We do not have make up classes for the days your child misses if the class is offered.

Allergies

Please note that some classes may use store bought candy for decorating (ie: cupcake decorating, etc.). While every effort will be made to make these classes nut free, some of these candies may be made in facilities that process nuts. If you are signing up your child for one of these kinds of classes, please be aware of this and notify the instructor. Any class offering a snack will have a question on the online registration form addressing allergies.
