The Hampstead PTSA hopes all families are staying healthy and safe during this trying time.  During this crisis, we have had to cancel our remaining programs and events for the year.  We would like to inform families of the following updates and encourage you to reach us at info@hampsteadptsa.org if you have any questions at all.  

HCS ENRICHMENT CLASSES
Sadly the majority of the Enrichment classes scheduled for this spring had to be cancelled.  We love sponsoring these unique and fun learning opportunities and are very disappointed the students have not been able to enjoy the majority of them.  Refunds are currently being processed and will be mailed out to families by the start of April vacation.  

The PTSA is extremely grateful for the kindness of several families who donated their payments in lieu of a refund.  We realize this time can financially trying for families, and this gesture by many was unexpected and very generous.  These donations will help the PTSA continue to try to sponsor the numerous programs and events we host for the students, staff and community throughout the upcoming school year.  

OPEN EXECUTIVE BOARD POSITIONS FOR THE 2020/2021 AND 2021/2022 SCHOOL YEARS

WE NEED YOUR HELP!  We will be holding an election for the following positions at our June 11th General Membership Meeting:  President, 2nd Vice President, and Secretary.  These are each 2-year terms and it is vital to our organization that these positions are filled.  We are currently holding General Membership Meetings virtually via Zoom.  Should school not reopen prior to the June 11th meeting, we will hold the election virtually as well.  We are seeking fun, energetic parents who would love to get more involved in PTSA and the numerous benefits we provide to the students and schools of Hampstead.  If you are interested in submitting a nomination for any of the open positions, please fill out the nomination form and email it to our nominating committee BY MAY 14TH at secretary@hampsteadptsa.org.

PTSA KIDS
Our Hampstead Middle School student members are AMAZING - these awesome kids are an integral part in our organization, and we could not hold nearly as many fun events and programs without their help.  As a PTSA Student Member, children earn volunteer hours, make new friends, and learn the value of helping others and our Hampstead community.  The students meet on average twice a month before school.  If your child is interested in this great group, please contact Sarah Wisecarver/Tiffany Berube (PTSA Kids Co-Leaders) at ptsakids@hampsteadptsa.org for more information.


BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Box Tops are now even easier to redeem for cash for your schools!  We are so excited to transition to their new online redemption - all you need to do is download the Box Tops App and scan your receipts - NO MORE CLIPPING Box Tops off products!  Please click on the "Programs" tab for more information - we are still accepting non-expired paper box tops.

Congratulations to our recent contest winners:  Mrs. Morin's 4th grade class at HCS won a class party and Cole Medugno at HMS won a gift card!

The Hampstead PTSA Membership welcomes Parents, Guardians, Teachers, Staff, Family, Alumni and PTSA HMS students!

If you would like submit payment online please check out using the PayPal button below. After selecting your initial membership, there is an option to continue shopping that will allow you to sign up for additional memberships in one transaction. Once payment has been made please fill out the membership form and turn it in to your child's classroom or email a scanned copy to treasurer@hampsteadptsa.org.

If you prefer to pay by check or cash, please make the check payable to Hampstead PTSA. You will just need to fill out the membership form and turn it in along with your payment to your child's classroom. (Please put in an envelope marked "PTSA Membership.")

We also invite you to please attend a meeting and consider serving as a volunteer for and/or attend a PTSA event. This is your PTSA! The more family involvement we have, the more successful we will be. Plus, your kids will love seeing you around school - we promise! Our meetings for the school year are held once a month at 7pm in the Hampstead Middle School Library.
